Is it just about turkey and cranberries…??

Is “age” simply a number, or is there more to consider as we “age?” That’s perhaps a clue to the answer to my question. Consider this: for all its small stature and breadth, AGE is a complex word with many uses and assumptions to its appearance in the lexicon. It cannot confine or define the entire story, for it is but an instant amidst all others in a life refined by each coming moment.

Inside out, back to front, and turning around and heading back the other way. Toward Him. In the direction of the One who made me a “wonderer”. What I could not see then, He never lost sight of. More importantly, the more I learned about Him, the more I learned about me. When I got the order wrong, it made no sense. When I get the order right, prioritized, and aligned, life becomes so much less complicated to understand.

Strength is a gift that only comes from struggle. Embracing the struggle allows us to move through in stages, from can’t to CAN, and shows us how far we have come at the end of the path.

When I was young, friendship was a clear and easy thing to define. You knew the person; maybe you went to school with them or lived close to them and played together. There were acquaintances, people who weren’t quite friends but…
